We’re located in the heart of Western Newfoundland on Route 430 (also known as the Viking Trail) and just 10 minutes from the wonders of Gros Morne National Park.

Situated across from Big Bonne Bay Pond with its mountain fed waters, our neck of the woods is a great place for boating, fishing, swimming, mountain biking, ATVing, side by sides, hiking and just relaxing in the summer. Be sure to make time to check out the famous Lomond Sinkhole!

In the winter months, The Jackladder is ideally situated along the vast groomed snowmobile trail network traversing Newfoundland’s Great Northern Peninsula. The snow is plentiful and the adventures are too! We offer guided tours to the two most popular snowmobile destinations in Newfoundland – Western Brook Gorge and the Lomond Sink Hole.
