At The Jackladder property we offer a full rest stop service for your holiday needs and our local and friendly staff will always take the time to explain the area and what attractions are on the Viking trail and in Newfoundland in general. Situated across from Big Bonne Bay Pond, one of the best lakes in Newfoundland, with its mountain fed waters Big Bonne Bay Pond offers great boating, fishing, swimming and relaxing. Check back for future updates to our summer tours of the Lake, fishing trips and relaxing beaches.

In the winter months, The Jackladder is ideally situated along the vast groomed trail network traversing the Great Northern Peninsula. You have no worries about snow in this part of the Province. We can offer you guided tours to the two most popular snowmobile destinations in Newfoundland, Western Brook Gorge and the Lomond Sink Hole. Whether you want to take the easy route or mountain ski-dooing is your thing we can accommodate you.
