TESTIMONIALS

I had the pleasure of staying at one of Jackladder's cabins,"The Bears Den". I was very impressed by the cabin. It was spacious, clean and had everything you could imagine to be a home away from home. This all season cabin would be good for anytime of the year. We stayed for a whole week! The cabins are just outside of Gros Morne National Park and close enough to Deer Lake if you need supplies or feel like treating yourself to Tim Hortons. My family has lived near the Jackladder now for many years and I have to say this has been the  first real time I have enjoyed it, now that it is under new management. Check out the kitchen party on Friday nights with local entertainment and the best wings you've ever tasted! Be sure to ask for the house sauce. Don't forget to join them in the dining room for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had a yummy breakfast with homemade bread and  jams. I totally recommend this location to stay, eat and relax. We searched a lot of cabins in the area, none were as nice and convenient as these.

We had a wicked time at your place. It was awesome how you guys ordered up the 60 cm of fresh snow for us….wow. The cabins are absolutely great.  I stayed in the newer one and  the guys that stayed in the other cabin loved it.  We found the location of the cabins to be ideal for taking trips in multiple directions.

Upon our arrival back on Saturday (we were 1 hr late).  Your crew had our meal ready to go….I’m so glad I organized that….it hit the spot and my writers appreciated it. Your staff were totally on the ball. Because we had two great days and many of our crew had to leave on Sunday, we all decided to depart after two days of riding….I think I had them all tired out.My first experience staying at The Jackladder was beyond positive.
