Aquaponics Dining Experience
See our experimental aquaponics greenhouse up close and in action! Learn about the relationship between the plants and fish and try your hand at planting produce. Then pick vegetables and greens for your meal and make fresh pesto or another garden-fresh treat. While you explore the greenhouse, our cook will prepare your 4-course meal including soup, salad, main and dessert paired with your choice of wine or local craft beer.

Jiggs Dinner at
The Jackladder
Every Sunday our chefs arrive early to serve up the finest Jiggs Dinner that you’ll find anywhere! This traditional and beloved Newfoundland meal is served with salt beef, turkey, dressing, creamy peas pudding, fresh and locally grown boiled vegetables including potato, turnip, carrot, and cabbage. Top it all off with lots of delicious gravy.
This is a popular event at The Jackladder Restaurant, so reservations are strongly recommended!

The Perfect Campfire
Treat
Enjoy a cozy evening around a campfire complete with all the makings for yummy S’mores. Bring your family and friends and we’ll do the rest! Before you arrive, your private fire pit will be set for you to light, along with extra logs to keep the fire going into the night.

Did you reach the summit of Gros Morne Mountain? Congratulations on checking off this stellar bucket list hike! Celebrate your achievement with a basket of delicious, made-from-scratch onion rings – for FREE! Show us your photo at the top of Gros Morne from that day, and the rings are on us. Add a jug of draft beer for $10. And don’t forget to visit our gift shop to purchase your “I climbed Gros Morne Mountain” t-shirt.

Call of the
Wild Camera Excursion
We’ll take you and your camera into the backcountry of Western Newfoundland to get you that perfect photo of a moose, caribou or other wild animals we might find. Spend the morning or early evening riding with us on an ATV or side-by-side and exploring the area on foot, then relax and re-fuel with our famous moose burger barbequed in the backcountry.
